Age-Friendly Festival
Educational Presentations

Attend a variety of engaging presentations specially created for the Age-Friendly Festival.
Just stop by the Ken Clark Auditorium and have a seat, with no reservations needed!
Learn from authors, longevity experts, and thought leaders who will share insights and innovations on living optimally at any age. Presentations range from 20 to 45 minutes, including question and answer opportunities.

As part of "Age-Friendly Sarasota Week" (10/23–10/27/17) on ABC-7's Suncoast View, each day a festival speaker shared a preview about their topic in these thought-provoking interviews:
Debra Jacobs — "What is Age-Friendly Sarasota?"
Nancy Hobson — "Healthy mind, healthy home"
Rose-Anne Frano, Esq. — "Life happens: Prepare now"
Kathy Black — "Researching the Suncoast: Making it better for all ages!"
Kendra Keiderling — "Getting from here to there"
And festival speaker Bill Armbruster wrote a guest column — "A community livable for all ages" — in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune during the same week.
