Thank you for your organization’s interest in participating in the Age-Friendly Festival on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Please submit the form below for consideration as an “Advancer” in the age-friendly movement and a participant in the Age-Friendly Festival.
There is no cost to participants for exhibition space.
Request to Participate submissions will be accepted through July 15, 2017.
In our automated email acknowledging your submission, a copy of your completed form will be provided for your reference. An Age-Friendly Festival representative will contact you no later than August 15, 2017.
There are four types of participation opportunities being addressed in this "Request to Participate" process. In the form below, we’ll be asking you which type(s) your organization would like to use to engage with attendees.
Exhibits: Individuals, businesses, nonprofits, local government, and media outlets will showcase practices, services, and products advancing age-friendly principles in the community and beyond.
Education: Organizations, longevity experts, and authors will share insights and innovations on living optimally at any age.
Experiences: Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities that demonstrate ways to enhance and evolve quality of life.
Entertainment: Performances by artists of all ages will be presented through a partnership with the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County's 2017 InspireSarasota!, a two-week celebration of arts and culture.
Please Note: The fifth type of participation opportunity — Volunteering at the Age-Friendly Festival — is being handled separately by contacting Alicia Chalmers, AFF Volunteers Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers are needed to support the festival in a variety of roles and shifts such as greeters, assisting exhibitors and team members, and helping attendees navigate the layout of the event and parking lot. Community service hours are available for youth volunteers.
