The Age-Friendly Festival will be a celebration of lifelong well-being in our region. This community event aspires to connect people of all ages. Individuals and exhibitors from businesses, nonprofits, government, and the media will share information on a variety of topics that optimize community assets and enhance quality of life.

The Festival will feature exhibits, education, experiences, and entertainment highlighting:
     — Arts & Culture
     — Health & Wellness
     — Livability Options

There will be free live entertainment and food for purchase throughout the day.
Exhibition space is available at no cost to participants advancing age-friendly principles and promoting lifelong well-being. If interested in this and/or providing education, experiences, or entertainment to attendees, you can learn more about these opportunities and submit the "Request to Participate" form. (Submissions are being accepted through July 15, 2017.)

Volunteers are vital for the success of the Age-Friendly Festival. They are needed to support the festival in a variety of roles and shifts such as greeters, assisting exhibitors and team members, and helping attendees navigate the layout of the event and parking lot. Community service hours are available for youth volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Alicia Chalmers, AFF Volunteers Coordinator, at aliciac0831@gmail.com.
