The New 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, in collaboration with a 988 Messaging Task Force co-led by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) and Vibrant Emotional Health, created the new three-digit 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in July 2022.
